slopeminder.com is a painterly map of the mountain you can turn and tilt to look down a run before you drop in, and a way for a family or a group of friends to keep track of each other once they’re on it. Everyone in the group is on the map along with what they’re doing, so you can see your kid is on Liberty Bowl and your brother is in line at Ramcharger 8 without anyone typing a thing. iPhone/Duo, iPad, Watch, and Vision Pro. Launching Duo week. Apple TV/Mac resort status board and group viewer for anyone staying home coming later.

Pony

Pony nags you about your Apple Reminders until they’re done. Say what you need to remember and how you want to be bugged about it, and Pony keeps asking until you check it off. iPhone, Mac, and the command line so it is easy to coordinate with agents. The name comes from one of my daughter’s school counselors, talking about his own ADHD: “I need someone to ride me like a pony.” In the App Store.

Big Sky Field Guide

bigskyfieldguide.com is an iOS app guide to Big Sky that knows what is actually open in different seasons, works with no signal, and has an interactive 3D tourist map I think is really cool, and inspired Slope Minder. In TestFlight beta now.

How’s the Canyon?

howsthecanyon.com has road conditions for the Gallatin Canyon, built because everyone here checks the same three sources every winter morning and someone had to put them in one place. Free, for my neighbors. Canyon, for short. Pulls in every possible data source, runs a road condition prediction model, and has lots of lessons learned applied. CarPlay coming soon.

Readulator

readulator.com is a modern capture and consumption tool I wanted for myself. It leverages the new Siri AI and hardware Apple is launching this fall. Consumes all sorts of sources, cleans and categorizes, collects and reads them back.

ChuckTrack

chucktrack.com sits on top of OnTrack, a legacy scheduling system nobody in corporate is ever going to replace. Chuck signs in for you, reads and writes the same schedule OnTrack already holds, and gives everyone a calendar link that updates itself. Turns an hour of tedium into an easy 5 minutes. Invite-only for now.
