Salsa - Dallas Restaurant Style
Untried but grabbed for future need. I’m not a fan of typical jar salsas. My preference is for smooth restaurant style and there just aren’t a lot of options at the grocery.
2 x Serrano, roasted over gas range
1 x habanero, roasted
2 x garlic cloves, lightly roasted
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp white pepper
Squirt of avocado oil
Juice of 1 lemon
28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes (NOT San Marzano)
Roast peppers and garlic. Purée everything and let it sit for an hour.
