That dark brown ground pork? It’s mega easy. This one uses sweet bean paste, but miso is fine, or you can omit it entirely.

1 tsp vegetable oil ½ white onion, diced fine 1 lb ground pork 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 coins of ginger, minced 2 tbsp soy sauce 3 tbsp sweet bean paste 1 tbsp mirin 1 tbsp sake Salt to taste Steps:
In a saute pan, sweat the onion over medium heat in the oil until translucent, 3-5 minutes. Increase the heat to high, and add in the pork. Cook, stirring and breaking up clumps, until starting to brown. Add in the garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant, around 1 minute Add in remaining ingredients.
