Crockpot: Low
1-2 Italian Sausages 1 lb Ground Chuck/Sirloin/Round
1 minced yellow onion 3 diced bell peppers (green, red, whatever) 2 cloves minced garlic/paste
2 tbsp soy sauce 1-3 tsp chili powder ½ tsp dry mustard ¼ tsp pepper 1 can tomatoes 1 can tomato soup 2 cans lt. red kidney beans
Boil meat to remove fat. Cut sausage into small pieces, this is where you can use up any leftover sausages from your freezer.
Brown onion and green pepper with meat and garlic. Start pepper first, then add onion, then meat and garlic.
Combine all ingredients in crock pot and stir. It will seem dry but do not add water.
Cook on Low 6-14 hours (indefinitely is ok too).
