Email pony@pantuso.com. I read everything that comes in. Tell me which device and which iOS or macOS version you're on. If Pony read a sentence wrong, send the exact words you said or typed, since that's what I need to fix it.

Testing the beta? Taking a screenshot and sharing it with TestFlight works too.

Common questions

Pony isn't nagging me.

Check that notifications are on for Pony, including Time Sensitive notifications, and that a Focus isn't holding them. A reminder that waits for a place or for your Mac shows a dashed ring in Now until you're there.

I'm getting two notifications for the same reminder.

Pony delivers reminder notifications itself, so the Reminders app's own notifications double up. In Settings, find Reminders and turn its notifications off, on your iPhone and on each Mac.

How do I phrase a reminder?

The way you'd say it to a person. What, when, and how, in any order: "call the dentist at 9, nag me every 15 minutes," "take the chicken out when I get home, give me 10 minutes," "every weekday at 8 take meds, don't let me skip it." With no time, a reminder is due at the next hour. With no how, it nags every hour until it's done.

Place reminders don't go off.

The iPhone does the watching, so it needs location access set to Always. Save the place first, in Settings under Places, or with pony places add on the Mac. A reminder can name a place you haven't saved, but it waits until you save it.

Alarms don't ring.

Pony asks to use alarms the first time a reminder needs to ring. If you said no, turn alarms on for Pony in Settings. Without that permission, an alarm arrives as a Time Sensitive notification. On the Mac, an alarm is a notification whose sound repeats for a minute.

Do I need Apple Intelligence?

No. Pony reads sentences with its own grammar. Apple Intelligence only fills in the parts the grammar couldn't read.

The pony command says my subscription has ended.

The command works through the Pony Mac app, which checks the subscription. Open Pony on that Mac and subscribe or restore from Settings. pony doctor shows what Pony can and can't reach.

What happens after the first 48 hours?

Pony asks you to subscribe, with the first month free. If you don't, Pony stops reminding you, and at 9 each morning it lets you know it's off. Your reminders stay in Apple Reminders either way.

How do I cancel, or restore a purchase?

In Pony's Settings: Manage Subscription to cancel, Restore Purchases on a new device. You can also cancel from your Apple Account's subscriptions. Family Sharing is included, so people in your family group get Pony too.

Does Pony work on iPad or Apple Watch?

Not as apps of their own. Pony runs on iPhone with iOS 27 and Mac with macOS 27. Its iPhone notifications and alarms show up on your Watch.

Where is my data?

Your reminders are in Apple Reminders, and Pony's own details are in your private iCloud database. Pony has no server. The privacy policy goes through all of it.
